We are looking for a Trading Operations Analyst to join us in Paris.

As a member of our Trading Operations team you ensure that we have all our data and administration in order, and provide insights enabling us to optimise our (trading) decisions as a company. 

Sitting with the traders, you help manage the trading desks, follow the trading activities and proactively identify opportunities to work smarter. You are the centre of communication between our traders, R&D, Risk and Finance teams across both offices, as well as with external brokers, exchanges, clearing parties and other (data) providers.


You take pride in operations running smoothly through your work; you are the go-to person.


In this role, you will have a global view of the company's activities and will be directly involved in projects and activities in trading, mid- and back-office. You will become an expert in trading and clearing/settlement matters.



What you'll do:

- Ensure correctness of business-critical data (trades, positions, PnL, etc) needed for traders to make the right decisions
- Monitor and analyse our day-to-day trading performance; e.g. Market-making, order-to-trade ratios, trade execution
- Help with administrative processes related to our trading activities; e.g. configuring trading algorithms, managing trader rights, fees, settlement
- Liaise with internal and external parties to resolve (data) issues
- Collaborate with our R&D teams to improve our data, build dashboards to provide new insights, and devise ways to remove unnecessary (manual) work

Job requirements

Profile:
- Master's degree from a Business/Economics school, University or Engineering School
- Proficient with Python (pandas, numpy, etc)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Interest in financial markets
- Hands-on attitude with the appropriate sense of urgency
- Excellent communication, teamwork and relationship-building skills
- Fluent in English
- Existing knowledge of trading and clearing/settlement processes is a great plus!
